Imago Maris Foundation

The Imago Maris project was created to promote the idea of sailing the sea for blind people from different European countries. The Imago Maris foundation was registered in December 2013 in Poland and the main goals are the following- Rehabilitation and integration of blind and visually impaired people through their active participation in international sea voyages- Exchange experience and integrate blind sailors from all over Europe- Strengthening cooperation between disabled people and able-bodied – break stereotypes, to change your way of thinking- Extending knowledge of foreign languages as well as enhancing soft skills of participants- Preparation of the sailing workshops for blind and visually impaired people.
