Imani Help Foundation

The Imani Help Foundation (IHF) is a Non-Profit organization, founded with the aim of providing awareness, education, and access to services for women and children who have survived violence. IHF started as a decisive response to the dilemma of Internally Displaces Persons (IDPs) in Nigeria following the attacks of insurgency groups in 2015, and has since grown to target women and children across the African continent in need of a voice. We aim to ensure that people are treated as the valuable humans that they are, by raising awareness about the reality of abuse, educating the public about these issues and providing access to services for those in need. In our work, we strive to empower the populations we cater to. Our vision is to see a world where children grow in a safe and healthy environment and play our part in bringing the United Nation's (U.N.) Sustainable Developmental Goals to life. Our goals and objectives are aligned with the first 5 goals of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)- End poverty in all it's forms everywhere The Imani Help Foundation strives to achieve this goal by providing job training workshops to IDPs, giving them a platform to begin rebuilding their lives financially. By providing a potential source of livelihood for this population, we hope to contribute to the eradication of poverty, one person at a time- End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture We strive to achieve this goal by raising funds and making donations of food to different IDP camps within Nigeria- Ensure healthy lives and promote well being for all at all ages Through IHF projects, we strive to achieve this goal, by providing free medical and psychological services to members of the IDP camps within Nigeria.
