Imec - Mechanical Working

Imec manufactures rolled rings and flanges, in any type of stainless steel and carbon steel. Imec produces mechanical components for different industrial sectors such as food, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, paper etc. Apart from supplying rolled rings and flanges, IMEC can supply metal welded structural parts and their relevant mechanical works suitable for pressure vessels, components for autoclaves, generators, for the paper industry (for example vacuum box paper machines, orifice flanges, air/water separator) and any other part according to a supplied drawing. The most used material is Stainless Steel (Aisi 304, Aisi 316, Aisi 316Ti, Aisi 321, Duplex, Superduplex), Alloys and Superalloys (es. Iconel), Carbon Steel (P355NH, S355JR), Brass, etc. The welding process is run by qualified operators in accordance with specific procedures and nondestructive testing is carried out upon request; the relevant certificate is issued as well. Following the requests IMEC has received in these latest years, we are now able to supply rings for the construction of packaging machinery, in particolar, the components for wrapping machines with a rotating ring.
