Impact 100 Jersey Coast

Impact 100 Jersey Coast is a women’s collective giving circle that funds high-impact grants strengthening local nonprofits in Monmouth County, NJ. Founded in 2015 based on the national Impact 100 model, the group pools donations to transform lives. Why Impact 100 Jersey Coast? The founders recognized an unmet need in Monmouth County for a platform that empowered women to leverage their charitable giving. This initiative aimed to address the needs of underserved populations, while also providing a space for women to engage, learn, and influence local charities. It's a powerful, efficient, and collaborative approach to philanthropy. How Does it Work? Each member contributes $1,100 annually. By combining funds, these individual gifts become six-figure grants for vetted community organizations. After reviewing grant applications, every member has an equal vote on awarding grants targeting unmet needs. Focus areas include food, housing, mental health, domestic violence and literacy. Members also learn more about regional nonprofits through site visits and speaker series. The collective structure enables women to achieve deeper community impact together. This model not only amplifies the impact of individual contributions but also fosters a sense of shared purpose. Impact we have made So far, Impact 100 Jersey coast has granted more than $2.8 million to 36 nonprofit organizations. In Monmouth County, the charity opportunities are vast and varied.
