Impact-Spots

We are a Dutch social enterprise, soon we will open an all female social workshop. Our aim is to change the lives of vulnerable, yet strong, women. Fleeing from war, an abusive husband, father, lover-boy or from an addiction or poverty. These women have had challenging times relocating to an unfamiliar place, but are willing to pick up the pieces and start a new live, to take care of themselves and their children. To build a new live, these women need to be financially independent. In our social workshop we give them the opportunity to gain work experience and a bigger change to get a paid job. We offer these women a 3 or 6 months program where they receive training, guidance and coaching in a safe environment. This way they can gain experience, trust and learn how to interact in a (Dutch cultural) working space. As we do not want to be financially dependent on gifts, subsidize and donations, we produce new products out of "waste"/ reclaimed material. Rescued - Transform - Re-use. Our mission is to impact the lives of these women in a positive way, while also working on our worlds well fair by focusing on producing a sustainable product locally. We will start with the first Impact-Spots in The Netherlands, but our aim is to expand the business-case of Impact-Spots soon to other places in Europe where women need empowerment and an opportunity for a new life.
