Employability Gap’ or the significant gap in the needs of the workforce versus the available capability is a term an increasing number of Indian graduates are becoming familiar with. We at Impact have brought together a range of perspectives from all levels in Indian education to understand the various dimensions of the issue, but for most students, the transition from being in a classroom to an office is enough to feel the problem. While Education in India has made slow yet significant strides towards a more is skill based, vocational, work-ready curriculum, we continue to neglect significant skills that are valuable across all sectors, most importantly - Communication. We believe that the art, science and skill of communication is the core component of any effort to bridge this gap. Further, narrowing the employability gap needs to be the focus of our educational systems & curriculums. Impact Worldwide Partners strive to achieve this - the right way. We bring together experienced educators and professionals to design research-based, result-oriented, exciting communication content for students & teachers. This is used to deliver unique training programmes across schools & colleges. Our training model is based in research and data, and aims to address the A-B-C (Affective, Behavioural & Cognitive) of each topic area. Each programme is supplemented by experiential learning through concluding events, activities, simulations & field visits. Impact mentors for students are aged below 30 and all teacher trainers have significant teaching experience. This helps us double the effectiveness of our content and bring an unparalleled quality standard to our programmes. We work with schools, colleges and local governments on programmes ranging from 3 days to 1 year. We help identify and address key issues in learning and development through on-campus training programmes. This is backed by our Impact Student Network which connects students across India with mentors from top colleges and companies. It also ensures easy sharing of content with attendees and maintain a lifelong association with each individual we train.
