IMPACTS Lab (Investigations into the Mechanisms and Predictors of Links between Physical Activities, Other Behaviors and Health Trajectories) activities are supported by a 3 dimension or 3D Strategy: DESCRIBE the evolution of lifestyle habits and identify their determinants, DISCOVER mechanistic models explaining how lifestyle habits influence health markers. DEPLOY the best possible interventions in real-life contexts to test their impact on the physical and mental health of the population. The laboratory is co-directed by Professors Mathieu Bélanger and Saïd Mekary of the Université de Sherbrooke, and the lab is located at the Centre de formation médicale du Nouveau-Brunswick.
