Impera Capital is an asset management company focused on equity strategies in Frontier Markets. Impera Capital was established in 2009 by two founders who have more than 40 years of combined experience in Emerging Markets, having worked for leading global and regional investment banks in London, Turkey and the Middle East. Our focus is equity investing in Frontier Markets, a very economically, politically and culturally diverse set of countries that are generally off the beaten track for mainstream investors. This makes our job exciting but also challenging at times. We strongly believe that "Frontier Markets" are similar to what Emerging Markets were in the 1990s and will experience the same growth over the next 20 years.
