I’ve been working in commercial radio since 1996 and have noticed, amongst a bunch of other stuff, that radio software is so expensive. I mean, it really is. If you want stuff produced by people that actually understand radio, rather than the stuff that’s produced for people kicking out Shoutcast radio stations with 1 or 2 listeners, then you really pay a premium. It’s a small industry with a small potential client base – that’s the deal. So, having been moved on from my last employment, I’ve set about to start producing a few bits of professional software that are within the reach of the whole radio industry.
