In 2015 impro obtained investment of £1m in Komori’s new HUV press; the first of its kind installed in Ireland at the time. Moving to H-UV curing systems has allowed Impro to improve upon productivity and delivery time. It has also enabled the company to do their bit for the environment with reduced temperatures when curing inks and preventing ink misting which also protects operator’s health. The introduction of this has led to quicker drying and reduced start-up times, overall enabling production time to be cut immensely. Impro welcome new technological innovations as it is a distinctive feature of the companies desire for growth. Developing increasingly standardised processes with high levels of automation has allowed Impro to simultaneously reduce production times and increase overall quality. Thus, resulting in improved efficiency of processing orders and customer satisfaction.
