Steve Littig founded IPS in 1992 to meet the challenges of healthcare through better analytics, technologies and processes. By leveraging data in the electronic medical record, we’ve developed a proven approach that applies industry best practices, advanced analytics and software to create the next generation of actionable intelligence for health systems. For over 25 years IPS has focused on data-driven process improvement and developing products to help our clients increase transparency in health care delivery. In 2017 we piloted a pharmacy product line that leverages EMR data to reduce pharmacy waste and increase the transparency around controlled substance utilization. That product has proven to reduce pharmacy waste and support drug diversion reduction. Better information allows clinicians and healthcare administrators to make more informed decisions for patients and their organization. Our role is to make our clients smarter by using their data to drive the decision-making process. A successful engagement for us ends when our clients are able to sustain improvements on their own. Building a business and facilitating change management in healthcare requires more than great data and technology.
