Ims (information management systems) inc. was founded in 1981 in scarborough, ontario. in 1992 the company moved to its present site in newcastle, ontario. the company continues to show steady growth. ims manufactures printer cartridges and distributes printer consumables as well as manufacturing printer ribbons as well as re-manufacturing laser cartridges and inkjet cartridges. ims is making a significant contribution to environmental protection by the re-use of plastic components and plastic waste. re-manufacturing uses only the original container. all other parts are new. its principal market is the province of ontario, although products are also shipped nationally and internationally. inventory of consumables ready for early delivery to customers.
