International Newcomers Amsterdam (IN Amsterdam, previously called the Expatcenter Amsterdam) is a joint initiative of the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND), and the City of Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Almere, Diemen, Haarlemmermeer, Hilversum, Haarlem and Velsen. Its goal is to improve immigration and highly skilled migrant procedures in the Amsterdam area, as well as act as a valuable information source for all internationals living in the Amsterdam area. With newly simplified processes and applications, IN Amsterdam aims to better meet the needs of international companies and their expatriate employees. IN Amsterdam is situated in the World Trade Center in Amsterdam Zuid and provides a one-stop-shop service for highly skilled migrants and internationals arriving in the Amsterdam area.
