In Your Ear was founded by Carlos Chafin and the late Robbin Thompson in 1990 as a music composition and production company. Since then, the business has grown into an square foot, multi-studio recording and post-production facility hidden behind four antebellum row houses situated in Shockoe Bottom, Richmond's vibrant production district.
