We're Remote Startup Bootstrappers. Founded in 2008, our founder took a break from startup life in Seattle to start a consulting group in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We believe we're on the cusp of a trend we call 'remote startup bootstrapping', where we take a startup idea and build it to "minimum viable product", then the client team takes it from there. We help clients launch quickly, with a codebase that can grow with them, and we help the client know what people are needed going forward. We train and grow a team as needed, or we work alongside an existing team, if they already have one. We build solutions for people very different from us. And we believe one of the most important skills a developer can have is empathy. Technology is full of people who are more comfortable coding than understanding their customer. It's not enough to just take the hottest technology and use it because it's popular - you have to know how customers will interact with software long after the project is complete. We think through user stories, we plan for future versions, we decide what needs to be built now and what can wait because we don't yet know enough about the end-user. We build technology that lasts. We like to reuse technology where it makes sense. That means projects go faster, and the code we deliver is more reliable, the schedule is easier to predict and the more we can get done in the budget.
