Inclusive Communities Care

Edmonton’s Community Inclusion Consultants work with people with disabilities and family members to employ, mentor, and train inclusive person-centered support staff also known as Community Disability Support Workers. We help Community Disability Support Workers build an inclusive community around the person they are working with so that the person with a disability can enjoy full citizenship and community inclusion. A Person-centered approach is the foundation upon which our services are built. It is important to get to know each person – their hopes and dreams, their gifts and talents, their vision of a good life, and their unique support needs. Personalized supports are created in partnership with the individual, their family and our support team.
