Independence Economic Development Partnership

The Independence EDP is a public private partnership that provides economic development services within the City of Independence, Missouri. Services range from providing assistance to support existing businesses, business attraction and entrepreneur/business start up support. We are a program under the Independence Chamber of Commerce The Existing Business team works with established businesses in Independence to grow their workforce and their business, through data research, workforce development, network development and personalized business assistance. The Independence EDP's Business Attraction Group pairs the EDP's expertise with the City of Independence departments and resources to provide a seamless, supportive approach to economic development.
