India Services is a dedicated portal of Ministry of Commerce to promote and highlight the 12 booming Champion Services of India. As, Services sector of India is a key driver in the country’s economic growth and is contributing significantly to Trade, Employment and Foreign Investments. Realizing the high potential of India in Services, Government has identified 12 services as ‘Champion Services” to give focused attention on the growth and development of these services. The main aim of ‘India Services’ initiative is to promote and enhance the competiveness of Champion Services of India thereby adding more to growth of services export from India. Champion service sectors comprises of Information Technology & Information Technology enabled Services (IT & ITeS), Tourism and Hospitality Services, Health & Wellness Services, Transport and Logistics Services, Accounting and Finance Services, Media & Entertainment Services, Legal Services, Telecommunication Services, Infra & Construction Services, Environmental Services, Financial Services and Education Services. To support the initiatives for action plans of 12 Champion sectors, Union Cabinet has approved a dedicated fund of Rs. crore. ‘India Services’ is a one stop platform for information and enquiries related to all Champion Services.
