Indivus is an engineering design company specialising in small to medium scale Energy Recovery Facilities. Our vision is to provide local waste solutions for the regions that need them most, reducing the need for waste transportation and minimising reliance on landfill. Our process makes use of low-carbon pyrolysis and gasification technologies to convert non-recyclable wastes into energy and useful materials. Our facilities have proven to be economically viable at small scales and are particularly effective solutions for special wastes, such as those generated by the healthcare industry. Our demonstrator plant in Avonmouth, Bristol has been processing clinical waste for local hospitals for many years, supporting of the delivery of a Net Zero NHS. A UK Environmental Agency inspector previously described the facility’s measured emissions levels as “the lowest encountered in 12 years of regulating thermal waste processes”.
