About Us BEAUTY Founder and Creative Director, Karen Hendrix has always been an observer, easily awestruck by simple splendor in everything from a distinctive piece of clothing to the fluid curve of an arch. When, in more recent years, the natural world began speaking more persuasively to Karen – the sacred geometry of a beehive, the mosaic of a salmon’s scales, the exquisite colors of a tropical flower, the intricacies of a hummingbird – she began to sketch. SUSTAINABILITY/ETHICAL SOURCING Our stones are from a family owned stone cutting factory in Jaipur, India, the stone cutting capital of the world. Our woods are obtained only from sources that are involved in ethical buying and involved in fostering sustainability. QUALITY Exquisite craftsmanship is integral. Materials alone ensure each item’s exclusivity. Every cut of wood has its own grain, every semi-precious stone has its own pattern and shades of color.
