Infinity Prints

Influenced by the subtle use of symbol, Travis Lawrence uses the art of printmaking to convey subconscious imagery through the form of multiples. Pulling inspiration from Jungian psychology and mythology, Travis presents iconic visuals shrouded in simplistic mystery. The current body of woodcuts has taken its influence from medieval illuminated illustrations and alchemical manuscripts. Using the notion of emblems as a collective use of symbols, each iconic figure presents a still narrative where every detail is a metaphorical metamorphosis of the visual. Travis Lawrence currently resides in Saint Louis Missouri as a Press Assistant out of Evil Prints where he also crafts his own moniker known as Infinity Prints.
