Infobridge Foundation

InfoBridge Foundation (InfoBridge) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2002 in the Netherlands for research, capacity development, knowledge sharing and innovation for sustainable development and poverty allevation. InfoBridge supports local partners in Africa, Asia, Caribbean and Latin America, and Pacific, with capacity development, action research, and knowledge sharing and develops innovative services and replicable models to improve the livelihoods of rural and urban poor communities. InfoBridge partners with various stakeholder groups: NGOs and CBOs, national and international research organisations,(thematic) networks, universities to implement activities in its three programmes: 1. Applied Research for Development Fair Price Research focuses on the methodology how to calculate fair prices for smallholder farms. In this programme InfoBridge cooperates with the Living Income Community of Practice, Living Wage Lab and other researchers and practitioners. Several papers have been published so far in different magazines and the work has been discussed at several congresses and webinars. A book on the Living Income / Fair Price approach has been published in 2020. 2.Capacity development and Learning Building on the activities in the TeleSupport Capacity Building Programme InfoBridge is focusing on information and knowledge management and ICT4D by training, and supporting local partners in Africa and Asia through institutional development and skills development. Knowledge sharing and Innovation Knowledge sharing is one of the cornerstones for innovation in development. In this programme InfoBridge Foundation is developing knowledge services and products to support local partners and communities in Africa and Asia.
