Informal Diplomacy

Informal Diplomacy is a think-tank organization with a mission to assist the process of creating a friendlier ecosystem for cooperation of people living in the Western Balkans. We also aim to build strong connections with members of the Western Balkans diaspora worldwide, believing that their contributions can be crucial in preventing future conflicts in the region. As a think-tank, we conduct in-depth research on the existing levels of cooperation between organizations or companies led by members of Western Balkans diaspora in various cities and countries around the world. Informal Diplomacy organizes conferences, seminars, expert meetings and workshops in the Western Balkans to raise awareness about the significant potentials of people’s diplomacy. Participants of our events are expected to develop skills needed for productive dialogue on topics concerning the future of Western Balkans as a whole but they also acquire new knowledge about cultural intelligence and public diplomacy. This enables them to serve as informal diplomats who actively promote peace in this region. Informal Diplomacy also supports businesses and initiatives that are fully or partially created by people from the Western Balkans, regardless of where they live. By facilitating connections and collaborations, we support individuals and organizations in securing favorable opportunities. Our mission is to showcase the talents and potentials of all the countries in this region, ensuring our vibrant cultures and diverse characteristics are recognized and valued worldwide.
