Information Catalyst for Enterprise (Information Catalyst or ICE for short) delivers expertise, consultancy, and innovative solutions in the field of (Big) Data, information interoperability, and integration. It projects this knowledge into other areas such as resource provision (from listed company CTOs to developers) as well as research and innovation proposal development, consultancy, administration and training e (e.g. in the EUs €80 Billion H2020 program). ICE contributes to voluntary groups such as- Europe’s Big Data Value Association (BDVA) where ICE has been a Full Member and ICE’s Director was the inaugural Secretary General - SME Board member of the Networked Software and Service Initiative (NESSI) where it has also been Steering Committee vice-chair and is currently the SME lead - Several standardisation initiatives in ISO and such as ISO10303-236, eBiz-TCF, funStep, etc. ICE has more than two decades of experience in conceptualising, developing and implementing eSolutions and consultancy and ICE personnel have been a key contributor to the development and implementation of global eBusiness and ICT standards, Factory of the Future, Future Internet, and Big Data community initiatives. ICE is based in the UK and Spain and with a range of partners and resources to help address your needs in a partnership, can’t-do-it-all approach. Innovation, conducted through R&D, is at the heart of any forward-looking ICT organisation. As such, ICE is at the forefront of many initiatives in Europe despite being a SME. Participation in both European, Regional and National innovation initiatives has many advantages to ICE, its personnel and thus its customers. From being at this edge of technology knowledge, influencing technical direction, through to using tangible results in our activities.
