Ingeborg Douwes Centrum
Het Ingeborg Douwes Centrum is een GGZ-instelling op het gebied van de psycho-oncologie. Wij verlenen zorg aan mensen met kanker, hun partner, familie, kinderen en ook nabestaanden. Dat doen wij in de vorm van individuele behandelingen, groepsbehandelingen en -bijeenkomsten. Voor zorgprofessionals bieden wij trainingen en scholing om deskundigheid binnen de psycho-oncologie te verbeteren en te verdiepen. Het centrum is vernoemd naar Ingeborg Douwes, die zich als kankerpatiënt heeft ingezet voor landelijke dekking van psychosociale zorg voor kankerpatiënten en hun naasten, zowel geografisch als via de basisverzekering van elke burger.
