Ingram Advocates

Ingram Advocates is a new law firm, formed by Lee Ingram (former founding partner of Davies & Ingram) and Chris Hillier in February 2018. Lee’s specialism is in insurance law and commercial dispute resolution. He has particular expertise in representing defendant insurers in catastrophic personal injury claims and policy coverage disputes. Lee took with him to Ingram Advocates his former team from Davies & Ingram and continues to deliver a bespoke and dedicated client service for insurers. Before joining Ingram Advocates, Chris spent some 17 years working at a large international law firm. During that time he maintained a solely Jersey based practice, exclusively in the area of matrimonial, children and mental health law. He is known for delivering sensible, focused and practical advice to clients. At Ingram Advocates he leads an already experienced team, dedicated to delivering advice and solutions with the appropriate degree of sensitivity and understanding. Danny Le Maistre joined the partnership in June 2019. He is a litigator with some 18 years of experience (15 years as a Jersey advocate). Prior to joining Ingram Advocates, he was a partner at a top ten ranked offshore law firm, based in their Jersey office. Danny is a commercial litigator. He has significant experience in relation to claims for breach of directors’ duties, fraud related claims and trust disputes. He also has expertise and experience in insolvency matters. At Ingram Advocates, he leads the commercial litigation and insolvency teams.
