Inktank

InkTank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, offering a wide range of programming—from basic literacy training to advanced creative writing workshops—with the mission of using writing to bridge the gaps between people of different socioeconomic, ethnic, and educational backgrounds, and to contribute to the cultural richness of downtown Cincinnati. In addition to the services InkTank provides area writers, which include venues for readings, publication, and conversation, the organization also supports writing initiatives within a number of area agencies dedicated to the care and welfare of the homeless, those in recovery, and those suffering the effects of poverty. InkTank is supported and fueled by a network of dedicated volunteers, whose ranks include writers, lovers of the arts, and individuals committed to the health and integrity of the community.
