Faith-Forward Counseling and Therapeutic Yoga can help process experiences from the past, learn how to apply the lessons to overcome challenges in the present, and move towards more peace and balance in our successful futures. I’m Chanel C. Bowen, a Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Addictions Specialist and Certified Clinical Supervisor who works from a Cognitive-Behavioral framework with a specialization in Dialectical Behavior Skills Training to help clients develop a toolbox of skills to reduce stress and anxiety, manage strong emotions and symptoms of depression. We learn to increase self-awareness, restructure core beliefs, and organize our thoughts in ways that improve how we feel and interact with life. As a Registered Yoga Teacher trained in Behavioral Health specific methods, yoga is integrated as an evidence-based therapeutic intervention for those interested in including it as a part of their Treatment Plan. My Board Certified Telementalhealth credential also gives clients the assurance they are receiving services that meet the standards of the National Board of Certifed Counselors even if they opt for eCounseling over meeting me in my office in the Lake Norman area. Therapy is individualized and tailored to fit each person’s unique needs in a safe, nonjudgmental, therapeutic environment. Warmly, Chanel
