InnoPub Media stands for innovative publishing. We are a start-up company organized by a couple of online community journalism pioneers based in Cebu City, Philippines. Among InnoPub Media’s trailblazing projects are the production of electronic guidebooks on Cebu and the data-tagging of tourism and heritage sites with QR or quick response codes. The two projects are supported by leading telecommunications company Smart Communications Inc, Department of Tourism, Cebu City Government, and key private sector partners like Cebu Pacific, The Islands Group and Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. The two projects were commended by the Cebu City Council in a resolution passed on mass motion last January 2012.
