A QUEST FOR INNOVATION Innoquest, Inc. was founded by company president Bill Hughes, P.E. in 1993 and has enjoyed steady growth right from the start. Hughes is a licensed professional engineer and has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Illinois. He has designed over 75 products to date - 17 of which have won AE-50 awards from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers for outstanding innovation - He currently has 9 patents with more pending. In 1991 Hughes started his entrepreneurial venture by designing, manufacturing, and selling humidity sensors for greenhouse control systems. In 1993 Innoquest was incorporated and began to design and sell electronic rain gauges. By 1996 Innoquest focused on contract design and manufacturing, partnering with Spectrum Technologies, Inc. for Ag marketing. From 1996 to 2008 Innoquest developed and manufactured over 50 products used for weather monitoring and soil diagnostic work by farmers, growers, and agricultural researchers worldwide. TODAY Innoquest continues to provide and improve effective solutions.
