Innovative Design Solution

Noren Schmitt studied art and design in Europe with professors from the famous Bauhaus School of Design. He graduated with an MA in Visual Communication from Mainz University of Applied Sciences in Germany. At the age of 23, Noren was invited by Ph.D. Altmeier to become a member of the Rheinland-Pfalz Artist Society and to participate in partnership exhibitions in France and other european countries. While in Europe, Noren worked for a multi-national design firm in Wiesbaden as an art director serving GE, DFDS Seaways and other multli-national firms. Upon moving to San Francisco, California, Noren was creative director for Sharper Image and received many national awards. After 1991, Noren worked as an independent creative director designing for many prestigious clients including Williams Sonoma, Smith & Hawken, Dell, ebay, Microsoft, Hyatt Regency, Fort James Corporation and Boudin Bakery. His work has been published in reference books.
