Innovators For Purpose

Innovators for Purpose (iFp) is a BIPOC-led non-profit youth design and innovation studio and learning lab in Cambridge, MA. We provide leadership, develop tools, and empower young people to create positive impact through Design and STEM. Using an approach that leverages cutting-edge practices in Higher Ed and Industry - coupled with a fundamental belief that skill follows will, we have developed a learning framework called Integrated Creative Problem Solving (iCps) that attracts all students, including those who have not yet self-selected STEM. iCps at its core is a mash-up of Design Thinking, Purpose Learning and Professional Identity Development that empowers students to take one step towards solving BIG problems they deeply care about. Over time, students FLIP from passive observers to active participants – becoming Creative Doers who change, improve and leave their mark on the world. The exact kind of leaders needed in today’s economy.
