Innovitis (founded 2024), provides data-driven solutions to wine vineyard plots. Our core offering is precision irrigation, delivered through weekly/bi-weekly recommendations. These recommendations are tailored to the specific yield and quality targets of each plot. Developed during a 5-year period of scientific research led by Dr. Yishai Netzer and Dr. Noa Ohana-Levi, our machine-learning model considers yield and quality targets translated into vine physiological needs, meteorological data, measured irrigation amounts, and estimated leaf area. This modeling procedure ensures precise irrigation calculations for optimal vine performance. The Innovitis solution goes beyond basic recommendations. We offer: • Tunable irrigation plans to match the unique yield and quality targets • Weekly reports on vine leaf area and crop water consumption (evapotranspiration) • Irrigation performance tracking (recommended vs. applied amounts) • Smart sampling maps that use a complex algorithm based on satellite imagery to divide the plot into unique sub-plot areas. These sub-plot areas indicate the ideal locations for sample collection and placing monitoring devices, ensuring the samples truly represent the overall characteristics of the plot. The irrigation model has already been applied to various plots and varieties, after tuning to predefined yield and quality targets, with high success rates. We are currently operating with leading wineries in Israel to continuously improve vineyard performance and increase revenue.
