Inspirion is the pre-eminent global resource for critical biological risk management solutions at every stage of the laboratory lifecycle. Over 25 highly specialized technical capabilities are required through the life of a containment laboratory – from design to decommissioning. Inspirion is a unique organization with rare talent. There are over containment laboratories in the US and only 356 credentialed biosafety professionals. All Inspirion biosafety professionals are credentialed by the American Biological Safety Association. All possess advanced degrees in the biological sciences and have direct bench experience working with Select Agents. Our biosecurity professionals are credentialed, as well, and have deep experience with physical security and biological security solutions for US government laboratories. With over 150 years of combined experience, we have worked in over 30 different countries providing support for campus planning, laboratory design, engineering, commissioning, operations and management guidance for federal, commercial and academic clients. These clients operate biosafety level-2 (BSL-2), BSL-3 and BSL-4 facilities where human, animal and plant pathogens are handled, stored or manipulated for the purpose of diagnostics, research or vaccine production.
