Institute for Policy Development is a Yogyakarta-based policy research, established by Department of Management and Public Policy - Universitas Gadjah Mada in 2021. The institution created under the concern of the midst of economic, social, and political uncertainties, both locally and globally. Taking into account the challenges that continue to change in the future, the new strategy is made based on the organizational foundation that has been built over the last 8 years. Institute of Policy Development is the new brand of former Reforma (Center for Policy and Management Studies). Our Vision is to transform policy. We want every public organization to have the necessary skills, knowledge, insights, and confidence for a better future. The Institute’s central research centers are: Governance and Management (Decentralization, Public Service, Public Sector Marketing, Disaster Management, Tourism Study), Growth and Prosperity (Poverty and Inequality Analysis, Public Sector Economics, Public Policy, Community Empowerment), and Digital Development (Big Data, Artificial Intelligence).
