The Amazon is a crucial regulator of the planet's temperature and responsible for ensuring the flow of rain essential for agricultural production. Deforestation exposes the environmental balance to constant risk. The indigenous, riverside, and Quilombola communities that populate the Amazon are leading the fight to preserve the forest and its culture. The Amazon Biennial was conceived as an international event that will bring together art institutions, WEB3 technology, design, architecture and organizations focused on sustainability and artists, nationally and internationally, as a forum for cultural, technical and scientific exchange. The event will bring together Brazilian and foreign artists, scientists, universities, companies, civil society organizations and indigenous peoples, as well as representatives of governments and national and international entities that support the sustainable development of the region, reconciling economy and ecology in an innovative economic model. The Biennale will serve as a stage for discussions and meetings about the environment as a basis for survival. The meeting will be characterized by multiculturalism, broad artistic scope, and interaction between local and international communities and entities.
