INTA, a deep-tech company, was established in 2020 as a spin-off of the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa and the National Research Council of Italy (CNR-NANO). Located in Pisa at the GATE Centre and the NEST laboratory, INTA is on a mission to develop and commercialize portable diagnostic devices for the diagnosis of traumatic brain injuries (TBI) through blood analysis. This mission extends beyond healthcare, serving other sectors such as security, Industry 4.0, and environmental monitoring, thereby making a significant impact on the global community. INTA's flagship product, the NanoAnalyzer, is a testament to our commitment to innovation. This portable, rapid, multiplex, and low-cost biosensor system, powered by artificial intelligence algorithms, is a game-changer in the field of diagnostics. Capable of simultaneously measuring up to six biological analytes, including proteins, antibodies, bacteria, viruses, and nucleic acids, the NanoAnalyzer offers a unique solution. It bridges the gap between rapid, portable, low-cost tests with limited performance and high-cost, high-performance, non-portable laboratory tests, thereby revolutionizing the way diagnostics are conducted. INTA's vision is to make biomedical diagnostics accessible to everyone, everywhere. The company has raised approximately 3 million euros from private funds, enabling robust growth and the introduction of the NanoAnalyzer product by 2025. INTA collaborates with various industries, research centers, hospitals, and clinics to develop and validate its technology, including IRCCS Mario Negri in Bergamo and Cambridge Hospital in the United Kingdom. INTA's technology contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).
