The International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism (INTBAU) promotes and preserves traditional building practices worldwide. Founded in 2001 by His Majesty King Charles who is our patron, INTBAU connects professionals, academics, students, and communities through projects, events, and education programmes globally. With 40 chapters and members in over 150 countries and regions, our mission is to sustain building knowledge that respects local climate, context, and character. We achieve this through hands-on workshops, conferences, study tours, awards, and competitions, ensuring traditional methods thrive in a modern world.
