Intego Ltd

Intego Ltd has been present in the Mauritian agricultural sector since 2007. A member of Made in Moris, the company operates two liquid fertiliser production plants and employs 68 people to run the business. Intego is the only fertiliser producer in Mauritius to offer organo-mineral fertilisers based on Concentrated Molasses Stillage (CMS) for cane and vegetable fertilization. CMS is a co-product of the cane industry, rich in organic matter, potash and other plant and soil nutrients. Based on its technical and operational expertise, the company assists its customers in developing various CMS-based fertilising solutions for soil and plant nutrition. In addition, the company offers its customers an application service for these liquid fertilizers. In recent years, special attention has been given to promoting soil biology. In this respect, Intego and its partners offer soil analysis services (to establish the soil health and fertility index) and biological solutions that will help farmers to regenerate their soils, and maintain a high level of fertility, while reducing the impact of chemical fertilizers on soil life and the environment. To complete its range of products and solutions for plant nutrition, Intego also offers its customers a range of organic products, foliar fertilizers and biostimulants that help the plant to resist insects and diseases and to achieve their production potential. Intego is also the official distributor of Richel, the world leader in greenhouses. Richel greenhouses are designed for local conditions and adapted for hydroponics and organic growing.
