Integrated Care Academy

The Integrated Care Academy (ICA), the first of its kind in this country, is an exciting partnership between the University of Suffolk, the Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System (ICS), Suffolk County Council and Healthwatch Suffolk and others from the voluntary and community sector, such as Suffolk MIND and local hospices. It will be the leading academic partner for local health and social care services working in mental health, care for older people and end of life care, and for all people and communities who are interested in learning, including service users, their families and carers. This new initiative has been established to support the changing needs of health and social care, and to help sustain and develop joined-up services for the health and wellbeing of our population in Suffolk, North East Essex and beyond.
