INTELLIGENT DESIGNS is the organizational umbrella under which Texas artist and writer Keith Howell produces his freelance work. Skilled with over 2 decades of experience in the publishing industry, he brings old-school artistic skills coupled with a proficiency with modern technical tools and a creative, out-of-the-box approach to his graphics-related projects. He is an experienced writer with versatile styles. He demonstrates "Gonzo"-style journalism highlighted by his work as an online reviewer of Graphic Novels and Films since 2005 and his blog "Intelligent Designs." His formal legal-style of writing was put to use in his 7 years as a Legal Research & Writing instructor for Paralegals, his time as a Legal Analyst co-writing several appellate briefs submitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and his term as a Summer Associate with the Rutherford Institute in Charlottesville, North Carolina.
