IPDS were set up to service the demand for project design services. We have built a reputation through a unique partnership with our clients in which we are proud to be regarded as a competent and capable extension to their own resource. Our engineering expertise includes: • Process (including Process Safety) – Conceptual design, Process design and modification using a variety of chemical engineering techniques and generation of Front-End Design packages for input to Detailed Engineering. Compiling cost estimates and business justifications, leading necessary HSE studies such as PHA, HazOp, DSEAR and LOPA. •Mechanical - Plant layouts, equipment and piping design from initial P & ID's and process scopes to provide clients with accurate project design documents, detailed cost estimates and project schedules. •Instrument - Control valve sizing, analyser spec’s, temp, pressure & flow measurement spec’s, DCS installations. Loop drawings and data sheets, block diagrams, cable schedules. •Electrical – Electrical Load studies, discrimination studies, cable sizing and schedules, lighting & earthing studies. MV & LV Switchgear specifications, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, plant layouts and cable routing drawings. Investigating & providing solutions to ATEX and 61511 compliance issues. Detailed design/construction estimating, planning, cost control, preparing tender documents, bid analysis. Liaising with other discipline engineers while providing engineering solutions to British or Company standards. •3D Laser Scanning – In house FARO 3D Laser scanners for accurate site measurements to aid design. We can also scan and produce point clouds for export to most formats depending on client requirements.
