Interact Performance Academy

interACT Arts Academy was founded upon the need for a supportive environment for students to express themselves creatively, free of judgment. In today’s society, even art forms can become competitive at such a young age. Oftentimes, children are told they are “too old” to start a new interest, but we feel the exact opposite. The vision of this academy is to allow all students to express themselves and grow as people, as well as artists, even if they have no prior theatre experience. Our academic year is divided into four 6-week sessions for each class/age group. Each session will stand alone with a unique focus so a student may take any (or all) sessions over the course of the year without repeating the curriculum. Limited experience is needed dependent on the age group/class selection. Topics, modified with age appropriate lessons, will range from voice and diction, to improvisation and scene work - even how to audition. Private coaching is available for all ages, but class curriculum is geared for ages 3-14.
