ЗАО «Межбанковский Процессинговый Центр» (ЗАО «МПЦ») было создано в 2004 году по инициативе Национального банка Кыргызской Республики и 11 коммерческих банков с целью внедрения системы безналичных платежей в стране и формирования инфраструктуры для их эффективного проведения. Сегодня ЗАО «МПЦ» сотрудничает со всеми коммерческими банками, платежными организациями и другими участниками финансовой системы страны, являясь единственным оператором Национальной Платёжной Системы «Элкарт» и Основным оператором взаимодействия ELQR, а также выполняет функции процессингового центра и эмитента карт, включая международные платёжные карты.
