Intermas-Elcom GmbH develops, produces and sells components and assemblies for electronic packaging which are compliant with both 19-inch-standard and custom requirements, e.g. cabinets, housings, subracks, cassettes and a comprehensive add-on program. Intermas® products are used in nearly every area of industrial electronics as well as telecommunications, military and traffic engineering. Prestigious customers from all over the world rely on Intermas. Being founded in 2001 the history of Intermas-Elcom GmbH, however, dates back to the 1960’s, when Intermas® was a work area of AEG Telefunken AG. Over the decades numerous product innovations – especially concerning 19-inch-standard – have been developed and produced under the brand name Intermas®. The core competence engineering includes stamping, bending, milling, drilling, welding, engraving and varnishing, imprinting and labeling. Great value is also attached to the firm’s service performance which contains comprehensive consulting, development, subsequent testing and assembling as well as the coordination of logistics. Beside the German parent company there are various international subsidiaries, e.g. in Switzerland, Austria, France and Canada.
