iDC (Intermedia Development Consultants) is a Kenya-registered company founded in 1988 as, simply, Intermedia. It offers consultancy services in various areas of development co-operation, and its main clients are development agencies, governmental organisations and, occasionally, private sector organisations. iDC works across a wide range of sectors and provides services in areas such as: Development communication; Monitoring and evaluation; Human resource development; Institution building; Management training; Feasibility studies; Project formulations and appraisals; Project impact assesments; Strategic plan development; Project management and technical assistance. The company has a small office team concerned with assignment preparation, administration, and documentation. This team is deployed to various assignments as needed, to ensure they are carried out according to contractual agreements with Clients.The company is active in various consultancy networks nationally, regionally and overseas, and it can therefore draw expertise from a wide pool of consultants.
