The Him Soo Do Foundation offers to all Woman, Men, Teenagers and children a comprehensive program that at its core builds confidence, discipline and a general sense of wellbeing. We are dedicated to ensuring that all our students have the necessary tools and fitness to defend themselves in any situation in life. A program that scales up from a novice white belt level to black belt levels that has our students mind, body and spirits wellbeing at its heart. Form work is dedicated to building discipline and fitness as well as recognizing our students through grading’s and rewarding them for their efforts via a professional and internationally recognized belt system. Open hand or unarmed is used to prepare our students for any real life scenarios that is a comprehensive program designed to ensure that our students know how to protect and defend themselves in any siltation. Ranging from gun and knife disarms, grappling and pressure point strikes. Weapons training teaches our students to use various weapons through our comprehensive program ranging from shorts sticks, batons, long and short poles as well as sword and knife techniques. The traditional weapons are used in the forms and students are graded based on their effort and their technique. We then substitute the traditional weapons with day to day items such as broom handles, pool brushes e.t.c so that our students can use any item to defend and protect themselves effectively. We also offer seminars ranging from 10 people to 50 people that focus on Anti- Hijacking, Woman’s defense, Baton and pepper spray training to name a few. There are comprehensive Life orientation classes for school goers that comprise of anti-bullying, stress handling techniques as well as mediation and mindfulness. There are effective private tuition classes that are dedicated to the open hand or unarmed practice, fitness, slow form (Moving meditation), mediation and mindfulness practices, Life and vibrational alignment coaching.
