Interstate Disaster Medical Collaborative

The Interstate Disaster Medical Collaborative concept was created from the desire of those creating state disaster response teams to share ideas with each other. It quickly became obvious that many people had an interest in gaining and sharing information on the subject of building response teams. We needed a common forum where information could be easily shared. In November, 2007, this concept became reality with our first teleconference. 501c3 Nonprofit Organization since 2011
