Intraxio

Intraxio, a new Boston start-up, is changing the way electronics can be advertised online. We know how to sell products better for online vendors by linking them to associated devices. The shopping experience is novel, requiring first that a shopper choose an electronic device to “shop for.” Then, they can browse through a curated suite of compatible, purchasable components and accessories. We have commercially demonstrated that this advertising method improves e-commerce for all parties involved. Our A / B testing results are compelling. Customers are more satisfied (returning fewer products), and vendor profit margins are statistically increased by over 365%. Shoppers have been willing to pay a premium to know for sure that products purchased online will meet their post-purchase expectations. We have retailed ~$1.91M of tech merchandise in this way, selling items both a) by traditional methods and b) by fusing the exact same traditional ads with a researched compatibility guarantee. The latter has achieved, in a sample of about purchases, a price point ~$10 (~30%) higher. Our advertising method is simple and intuitive. We combine standard product ads with extra research. We find out every verified way under the sun that a shopper might want to use a product. For example, a common “hard drive” is sold much more effectively when it functions verifiably as a “Dell Latitude D610 hard drive." In this way, we generate thousands of unique, targeted ads for the same underlying product. This, of course, requires sufficient research to confirm usability, but it pays dividends indefinitely. It has become one of the most effective ways to sell electronics online. We have proven the efficacy of this system by selling tens of thousands of compatible product orders to date in a variety of retail categories. Running our ad campaigns is truly a "no-brainer," since they supplement existing sales efforts without interfering at all with standard advertising initiatives.
