Intuitive Surgical is the global leader in robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery. The company designs, manufactures and sells Da Vinci surgical robots. Fosun Pharma is a leading healthcare group strategically comprising the complete value chain. The joint venture between Intuitive Surgical and Fosun Pharma will initially produce products targeting early diagnosis and cost-effective treatment of lung cancer, one of the most commonly diagnosed forms of cancer in the world. The Company will aim at benefiting all patients all over the world by developing a more convenient, efficient and comfortable tool for the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer in the spirit of “Made in China, Joint Research & Development, Global sales".
